With over two decades of combined clinical, leadership, military, and telehealth experience, Jerry D. Denson III is a results-driven healthcare professional known for his dedication to patient safety, clinical excellence, and transformational leadership. Jay is an expert in the field of Intravenous (IV) Therapy and includes but is not limited to IVIG and SCIG Biologics (ex: Cuvitru, Gamunex-C, etc), Various Non-Biologic IV infusions, Subcutaneous Infusions, PICC Line Management, Port Access, Injectables of various entities and more. His technique, reviews from patients, and healthcare expert reviews are above reproach. His expertise as a Medical Safety Specialist also brings a unique blend of frontline nursing expertise, global medical safety surveillance, and cross-functional collaboration to support quality and regulatory excellence throughout product lifecycles giving an edge with medical device management and paints a broader stroke of the healthcare spectrum. Jay is a licensed Registered Nurse in Texas and a Board Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) with a deep understanding of acute care, ICU management, emergency services, and trauma systems. His career spans roles as an Emergency Room Director, ICU Director, Bed Manager, and Telehealth Team Lead, where he managed complex care delivery models and optimized operations for both civilian and military healthcare systems.

 

As a U.S. Army Veteran, Jay has served in high-stakes environments including deployments to Afghanistan as an ICU and Trauma Care Director on a Forward Surgical Team. He played a pivotal role in building medical processing infrastructures for over 1,000 soldiers, raising deployability rates from 35% to 95% in just three months. His leadership has consistently delivered measurable improvements in patient care, team performance, and operational readiness. He is experienced at leading post-market surveillance, signal detection, complaint handling and safety assessments for acute care management products. He partners across departments—including Regulatory, Risk Management, Product Development, and Medical Affairs—to champion patient advocacy and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. A committed educator and communicator, Jay has over 20 years of public speaking experience across international, academic, military, and healthcare stages. He is a former ACLS Instructor, published author in the Army Nurse Corps Newsletter, and a sought-after mentor for both aspiring nurses and experienced clinicians. His academic background includes a BSN from Hampton University and ongoing graduate studies toward a Master of Science in Nursing.

 

Beyond his professional pursuits, Jay has been a volunteer photographer and videographer for the Abundant Living Faith Center in El Paso, TX, where he has captured milestone moments in support of ministry initiatives since 2015. He has also voluntarily coached the West Point Black Knights Little League Football Team, YMCA Little League Basketball Team, and served in several other community support initiatives. He is a board member of Beautiful Morning Inc. which aims to help orphans in Haiti grow up in a stable, loving, and nurturing environment.
