Sometimes it seems that we are doing so much! Working, four kids with all of their activities etc in school, going to school post baccalaureate, two dogs, volunteering, and all the other things that are incorporated with taking care of a home and raising productive members of society. Did I mention time for each other as a married couple and going to church? Exactly. God and each other are all too often the last things of importance when life throws you all variables mentioned above, when in fact God and each other should be of top priority; or God and yourself if you are single. God, wife/husband, kids, family, "true" friends, then everything else falls within the rest of the lines of life. It's hard, but stay encouraged. You're tired, but stay enthusiastic when your daughter brings you that A' on her assignment. I know I get tired, I know sometimes I want to say just leave me alone due to a long day. Just remember the 1 minute of time you took to encourage could change someones life for the better, and 10 seconds of discouragement could send someone into path of negativity. We always feel that although we have a lot going on in life; we can still intertwine our time. What is important about this concept is respecting each other's time, no judging, and maximizing each small moment to the best of your ability. We are a married couple that have been tried and tested; and we continue to get tested at every stage within our life. Some test are more challenging than others, but make sure you always show up for the challenge. Ensure you work on yourself during that challenge before you point fingers at the other person. This is the biggest challenge...working on yourself. What I'm going to share is a snippet inside our life on a Saturday morning. Try not to look at how busy it looks, but instead how we have intertwined our time to stay happy within ourselves. If you're happy with yourself only then can you truly be able to enjoy life to the fullest. Peace, Health, Time - JD www.peacehealthtime.com ;
