Time: When you realize your time is not YOUR time

The Creator of Time

It's been a while since the last time I have blogged. There has been a lot going on and a lot of blessings that have been granted. In the mist of all of this, validation has been of utmost importance.

Gods Plan and Time: I'm currently in a position at work that requires a lot of my time. I asked God for purpose and direction before I retired and God spoke to my heart: Impact lives, develop people, impact communities, and lead people to Christ through my actions. That's God's plan for me at the moment. After interviewing I realized the biggest platform to fulfill the purpose is in the position I'm currently employed.

My Plan and Time: During my journey and experiences in the military I realized after I retired I wanted to try and preserve the things that I felt were most dear, but would get stripped away sometimes. Those things are peace, health, and time. I vowed that upon retirement I will not let anything disrupt those things. I was wrong.

Sometimes YOUR plan and GOD's plan may not align. You see, when God has ordained you to do something and use you as an instrument, your plans will kind of get trumped. If you are a man of Faith you know that sacrifice reaps blessings, and planting seeds reap a harvest. My plan is still of importance, but God's plan is the most important.

God's time is past, present, and future. Remember that when you pray and get a strong feeling in your heart to go a certain direction...don't hesitate. Go for it! You may not see it and it may not make sense at the moment; but God knows all your moments. Trust, have faith, and seek validation through your path. - Jay
