Relaxation Minus Toxification!


Sometimes when it comes to our health we like to do things to help us relax, to refresh, to recharge. We want to minimize or obliterate all the tension, the stress, the chaos in our lives so that we can just center ourselves and focus on starting fresh - looking at things with clear vision and purpose.

There are many ways to relax -

1. Exercise

2. Nap

3. Bubble Bath with Warm Water

4. Tea and Reading or Meditation

5. Massage

6. Aromatherapy - candles/warmers/food baking

7. Retail Therapy

8. (You fill in here what you do) The list can be endless and definitely dependent on the individual.

I want to focus on the environment we create for relaxation.

Are we around positivity?

Are we being encouraged?

Are we moving forward in life?

Are we taking care of ourself?

What are we using in our environment to help us relax and "detox" the stress and tension in our life?

We want to be mindful about the ingredients found in typical items we often use to relax whether it is warmers, candles, massage oils, etc. Are we temporarily relaxing using toxic brands while toxifying our bodies that may come back to harm us later over years of use that will cause more stress and tension for us in the future?

To save on time and length I will focus on wax warmers. Many wax warmers that can be purchased release toxic chemicals in the air that we breathe in. This is not advertised because the chemical is not added to the product, however, the chemical reaction of melting the wax creates the chemical compound of the toxin that is released. Even if in small amounts, breathing these toxins in over time can have a subtle progression that negatively impacts our health. Some are carcinogenic, some disrupt our hormones.

We created time and healthier living by making our own wax warmers with natural ingredients that truly add the benefit of relaxation, rejuvenation, and refreshment with the added benefits of the plant used. Taking coconut oil, pure beeswax, and organic essential oils (not synthetic oils that can be purchased at the store! Remember synthetic is usually some sort of toxin inside.) we made our own wax warmer melts that provide the effect of burning a candle or melting a scented wax without the toxin release and subtle negative impact.

Be conscious of ingredients - what they do - how they affect your body... Are they organic or synthetic? Are they helpful or harmful?

Are you defeating the purpose of relaxation by actually slowly toxifying your body over time?
