Health: Balancing Your Health Part IX - Be Your Biggest Chearleader!

Be your biggest Cheerleader - I don't know about you but I struggle with this one. I am my number 1 critic and I am constantly trying to change to become my number 1 cheerleader.

We can be very hard on ourselves, feel like we didn't do things good enough, feel like we could've done more, or feel like as much as we did accomplish today - I still didn't accomplish enough.

Change your mindset to look at all the positive you did that day versus everything you didn't do (negative) that day. If you remain positive about accomplishments you will enjoy your personal time more, feel like you can relax and give yourself some well deserved self care as well as enjoy your family time much more because you are not focusing on the things you didn't get done. Remember, think marathon over the course of your life. We cannot and should not expect to do everything all the time every day. It is not realistic.

Always remember to DREAM BIG! Never let anyone or anything keep you from thinking outside the box, dreaming big, or thinking your dreams are not realistic. That is between you and God. If it's in line with His purpose you will succeed and it will be bigger and better than you could ever imagine!!!

Find your purpose and work towards it - What is your purpose in life? If you're a believer what is God's plan for you versus what you think your plan is? Are you in tune with your plan?

Have you set short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals to meet this plan? We will all fail at one point or another, but do we take these failures and turn them into learning experiences that will help us in the future or do we give up?

Socialize and have fun - Life isn't just about work and taking care of checking the boxes. We need to socialize, we need to have fun. What are your hobbies? Do you make time for them? How do you have fun while incorporating health and wellness? How can you tie this in with family time?

Instead of binging on the latest television series - what are some other healthier, active choices you can make? Instead of reading the latest, juiciest romance novel or sports magazine - pick up a self-development or personal growth book instead and invest in positive material into your head. You are what you eat. You are what you watch. You are what you read. You are what you have in your environment.

INVEST in yourself to be healthy physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. YOU ARE WORTH IT!

What do you do on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to be your biggest chearleader? Type some feedback or comments below on successes or challenges you have faced so we can all learn and grow together.
